“I went to a symphony orchestra performance with my partner, and I kept watching the musicians and singers on stage,” they looked off to the side wistfully. “They looked so free up there, and I felt like they were inviting me to be free with them.”

They paused.

“I love singing, but I don’t know how I’d make it. I don’t know how my parents will feel about it. I don’t want to make it in music with social media. It’s so fake. It always did bad things for me. I want to delete my social media, especially from when I worked as a model. I just want to sing now,” they said. “That date at the symphony orchestra was the best I’ve had with my partner yet. It made me feel things and we talked about it for hours after - our favorite songs, what moved us, etc. I want to be part of creating something like that.”
